  • Custom Windows NAS: Using Win2k3 with software RAID 5 on a mini-itx based Epia 1ghz (fanless) in a Chenbro NAS Case, 4 * 1Tb drives giving 3Tb of network attached storage in 260(H) x 140(W) x 260(D) (10.2 x 5.5 x 10.2in)
  • BT E-Frame 1000 hacking: A photo tear-down plus other info, links etc, regarding the (amazingly cheap at the time) digital photo frame.
  • Intensity Pro Desktop Capturing: Using a Blackmagic Intensity Pro card to capture computer display at 1080i30 in realtime with audio, as an alternative to Fraps and its ilk, with no slow down and minimal CPU usage.

  • MainsPowerSwitchAddon: Using an FTDI USB to Parallel adaptor to drive a set of relays enabling the switching of mains outlets in a main 4-gang extension. Primarily concieved for use on a Linksys NSLU2 unit (Slug).
Software
  • MultiplayerSuperGlue: Using a dot net powered application harnessing PCap and process monitoring to intelligently monitor and announce games being played (when and where) to ease friend/clan interaction.
